Scott Grinsell

Scott Grinsell is a Partner in and Project Director for Uganda of Orphans Against Aids (OAA), where, in addition to co-founding OAA’s program in Uganda, he has focused his work on issues of governance and the formation of the organization’s Board of Directors. Mr. Grinsell graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Williams College, where he received the Erastus C. Benedict Prize. He then studied as a Marshall Scholar at Magdalen College, University of Oxford, where he received an M.Phil., with Distinction, in Modern History.

Mr. Grinsell received a J.D. from Yale Law School in 2009, where he was a Coker Teaching Fellow, Comments Editor of the Yale Law Journal, Executive Editor of the YLPR, co-founder and co-president (both with Dr. Zachary D. Kaufman) of YLSE (the Advisory Board of which he now serves on), and a research assistant to Professor Heather Gerken on constitutional law. Mr. Grinsell’s academic work has been published in the Yale Journal of International Law and the Michigan Journal of Race & Law. After law school, he served as a law clerk to Judge Rosemary S. Pooler on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
